To get away from the spectator sport is the private Sword Duel of Honor. Sometimes those were to the death or first blood ( whoever bleeds first). Traditionally, this was about Honor. No reason you can’t make it a public event for everyone to watch where you duel your opponent. Provided you have a valid reason for the duel. Those reasons are the following. Cowardice, lying, slander, libel, infidelity, cheating and those of a private and personal nature. The Judicial Duel is different though
